Who Can Use Self-Storage?

Anybody can use self-storage, whether it is for personal or business usage.

How safe are my effects when in storage?

All Self Storage Centres are security monitored both for fire and security and have CCTV coverage on a 24hr basis.

Who has the key to my unit?

You are the key holder. However you may require our services to receive delivery from a third part and we can hold a further key on your file.

Where do I get the locks from?

Padlocks can be purchased from the reception area or you can utilise your own padlock.

Can I see the Storage rooms before renting?

Feel free to call in and look at our facilities. Our friendly managers will also be on hand to offer advice.

How much notice do I require before renting?

You do not require any formal notice, just call in choose a unit, complete our simple licence agreement and feel free to use your storage room the same day.

What paperwork is required; do I need a Lease?

You only need to complete our licence agreement, bring photo identification and proof of address; you do not have to have a solicitor to arrange a lease.

Are there Items that I cannot store?

Prohibited items are: - Perishables or Food, Paint Petrol or Oil, Gas Cylinders, Fuel Cans or Aerosols, Cleaning Solvents, Petrol or Diesel within Engine Powered Equipment, Combustible and Flammable Material, Chemicals, Explosives, Weapons or Ammunition, Radioactive Materials.

Is there a charge to access my storage items?

No. You are welcome to come and go as many times during our times of opening.

What is the minimum rental period?

Minimum Rental period can be as short as two weeks.

Are there additional costs for utilities?

All electric, rates and service charges are included in your weekly charge.

Do you have parking facilities?

We have off street car parking at all of our Self Storage Centres.

How Can I pay?

We can accept cheque, cash or major credit /debit cards. We can also arrange standing Order facilities.

Do You Hire Vans?

Although we do not directly offer van hire we have partnered with a Van Hire company and can offer free van hire subject to conditions. Please call your local Self Store Centre to discuss the options with our manager.

Do you do Removals into or out of the Self Storage Rooms?

As our parent companies are established professional movers we can offer discounted rates on a professional moving service either in or out of the storage facility.

What is the best Way to pack Breakables?

Please ensure that you wrap all crockery in wrapping paper (available for purchase at store). Plates are to be stood on their end, whilst cups again should be individually wrapped and the handles placed inside each other. Packing paper, bubble wrap and other specialist packaging materials are available from our reception, or the self-storage Centre Box Shop.

Can you supply me with Packing materials?

We have a wide range of packaging supplies that are tailored for your use in protecting your effects whilst bringing them into store. We also offer blankets that can be used to help protect your furniture when transporting items into store.

Can you receive effects to my storage room from a third party?

We would be more than happy to receive your effects from a third party and place them professionally into your storage room.

Can you store surplus stock from my existing business?

Due to the wide range of storage rooms that we have on offer we would be more than pleased to be able to store surplus stock for your business.

Do you limit the amount of times I can access my storage room?

No. You are free to come and go as many times throughout the duration of the Self Storage Centres opening times.
